Quiz GD And Speech on Nuclear power

Adding another task to its checklist our team Green Terra organized a Quiz competition on the topic "Conservation of Natural Resources In Campus" which was followed by a group discussion on the same subject. It could be seen as an effective step towards generating awareness and persuading the responsible youth to think of the ways to save our nature. A lot of students actively participated in this event.

The quiz was really interesting, I must say that. And then came turn for group discussion which stirred every brain present in the room. It was a great site to notice that students have knowledge about ecology apart from their orthodox engineering topics. As the GD proceeded new ideas emerged and there were clashes of ideas as per their pros and cons.

     Relaxing their brains for a few days students were again ready to enhance their knowledge about Nuclear power. A 30 minutes lecture was organized in which necessity of this non-conventional source of energy was discussed. Later we saw what all advantages it has over traditional sources and the constraints that this source may pose. A brief Q&A session was held in which students cleared their queries.
